After being informed of anything going on in the well being of the client that might be informative for the session, the instructor will dive into foundational movements with a flare of creativity so that the session is never the same. The sessions are individually catered to all the client's body, goals and needs.

PILATES MAT (Power Pilates)
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT)
BFA DANCE (University at Buffalo 2012)

Originally born in Boston, raised in Buffalo, Jacquie Maitner moved to NYC in 2013 after graduating with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from SUNY Buffalo.
As a sophomore dance major in college Jacquie experienced major mobility issues and pain in her lower back. After trying everything to rehab it from acupuncture and chiropractors, to hot yoga and physical therapy, she discovered Pilates. Jacquie received her Mat Pilates Certification through LindaFit Pilates in 2016 and has since received her NASM personal training, Barre Fitness, and Reformer and Apparatus Certifications. Maitner has studied countless anatomy and kinesiology classes and has been teaching Pilates consistently for the last seven years.
Her experience includes but is not limited to pre/post natal Pilates, pelvic floor and acute shoulder injury rehabilitation, as well as relief of sciatic nerve pain. For three years she trained clients at ID Pilates and Barre Centric LLC. in Buffalo, NY. In NYC Maitner taught private Pilates clients at Equinox; she currently teaches private online mat and reformer sessions as well as several genres of dance at BDC's Children and Teen Program.
Jacquie loves sharing her knowledge and passion for movement with movers from all walks of life to show them how Pilates can improve their quality of life and movement as much as it did hers.

Nikki is a California native and began her dance training at an early age. She graduated cum laude obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance at Alonzo King LINES Ballet at Dominican University of California in 2017.
During the course of her dance training she turned to Pilates as a form of physical therapy when she was injured. That is when she found the benefits that Pilates offered to help support the foundation of her dance technique as well as the overall contribution it had towards her mental health.
In 2019, Nikki received her Pilates Certification at Sal Anthony’s Movement Salon, now Pilates Habitat in New York City. Nikki teaches Pilates group and private machine and mat classes though out New York City. She is also a current PTA student at LaGuardia Community College.
